Hi there everyone. I'm Angus Mackintosh. Im here to talk about the general election that is coming up. I'm here to talk about all the parties that are taking part in this year general election. Lets start with labour:

Labour

I think labour have some good policies which are: Full employment. a secure homes guarantee. Security at work. Funding the NHS and social care. A national education service. Action to secure our environment. Put the public back into our economy. cut inequality in income and wealth. Action to secure an equal society, and peace and justice at the heart of the foreign policy.

Conservative

The conservatives policies are to make the social care a better place. To fund education.. To lower the TAX system. Income TAX. Pensions. Immigration. Markets. NHS. Deficit. Foreign aid. Defence. Media. Justice. Housing. Democracy. Homelessness. fishing. Corporate pay. Scotland . Fox hunting and energy.

Libel democrats

The liberal democrats policies are to redo the referendum and remain in Europe. Make the business and economy better. Fund the health and social care. Education and young people.. Families and communities. environment. Rights and international affairs.

Green party

The green party have a lot of policies for what they want to do to change this country. It is mostly to make the country a greener place by helping the environment, and stopping global warming. 

UKIP

The UKIp policies have very vague policies which are to leave the European union. Stop giving money to foreign aid. Stop immigration. Fund the NHS.

SNP

The SNP are the same as they want to become an independent country. Fund the NHS. Rejoin the european union. Fund education and schools and oil.

Plaid cmyru

I don't know much about this party but there policies are to economy better. Education. Immigration. housing and defence.

Script for single camera

A cat's life

Cat wakes up from night sleep and looks at the sunshine coming from the window.

Cat

Good morning world

Cat

Now it's time for some breakfast

Cat runs down stair and he finds his bowl and starts to eat his breakfast. Goes to black out and will have sound effects of the cat eating the food.

Cat looks outside the window, looking at the birds.

Cat

I think I'll go outside today

Cat looks out the french doors. The french doors open and the cat begins to go outside and starts to run around the garden.

The cat finds Molly in garden and runs up to her.

Cat

Hi Molly. Do you want to play a game

Molly looks away, as if she doesn't want to play with Felix.

Felix gets on top of the shed and has a look around the garden to protect his territory.

Cat

Just protecting my land from other cats.

Cat starts to head inside the house, and starts to grab his dinner.

Cat

I think it's time to have some food now

Cat heads over to the bowl and starts eating food.

Cat

That was delicious dinner. Now it's time to go to bed

Cat heads upstairs and jumps on the bed and begins to go to sleep.

Cat

Single camera

Production diary

Day 1: On my first day we learning about what a single camera involves. Then later that day we had to find a scene that involves one camera and explain what is happening in that scene and how do we know there using a single camera.

Day 2: We watching a video clip from the film whiplash, to see why the editor won an oscar for the particular scene we watched. The reason it won is because the shots. Where it should a long shot of both the people talking and the shots got closer as they like each other the people, but then it goes back to long shot as they have a little argument, and then it does the same again going from long shot to close up to their faces and then the important moment where the lady foots touches the mans foot.

Day 3: We have been given an assignment, which was to create our very own film. The film is only to have a single camera involved. The film can be any genre and the film can be as long as it wants.

Day 4: I came up of an idea for film which was going to be a zombie film, but I realized that it wouldn't work, as the zombies would need a lot of makeup and the film was going to take place in an abandoned house and an old forest, but it would take too much time and the film won't make any sense.

Day 5: I came up with another idea which was a cat film. It was going to be about a cat's life and from the cat's point of view as it would look like the camera is first person playing as a cat.

Day 6: I began filming my film on Thursday which was my day off. The equipment that I borrowed from the college was a go pro camera and a H4 zoom. The reason I borrowed the these equipment is because the go pro camera is good for a first person camera shot, as mine will be in first person as a cat. The reason I borrowed a H4 zoom is to pick up the audio of the cats meowing and purring.

Day 7: I downloaded all of the footage onto the editing computer in the editing sweep. I began to edit my film, but I didn't have enough footage to finish off the film, so I thought I will need to finish the film next week to get more footage, but I've began by editing my film and I've already done 15 seconds of the film.

Day 8: Once again I borrowed the same equipment. To finish my film about a cat's life. I manage to get all the footage I need on Thursday by finishing it off. I didn't need as much this time as I only recorded like a few videos.

Day 9: I downloaded the footage on the editing computer, and added some of the footage to the film.

Day 10: I finished the film and I've exported the video, but unfortunately I couldn't upload the work to canvas as I didn't have all my work done and didn't have all the work with me.

Day 11: I uploaded the video and all of the research to canvas, So Andy can mark my work to see if I have passed or not.

Script

       PS4 advert

The boy is sitting in the living room on his phone while plying a game on his phone. He looks really bored. A close up shot of the boy eyes and close up of the phone screen with the boy playing the game.

Boy

I'm so bored. There is like literally nothing to do.

The boy has look around his bedroom, and tries to find something to entertain him self.

Boy

There be something in here to play with.

The boy finds a PS4 in the wooden box and starts pulling in the socket to the wall.

The boy starts playing on the console and I will get a close up of the ps4 control to show it is a PS4 advert.

I will get a long shot of the boy playing the game on the TV, and he will be facing the back of me.

I will get a close up of his face concentrating on the TV, and I will get a close up of the TV of the game he is playing.

Production diary

Day 1: On our first day we were watching PS4 adverts and compare which of these adverts are the best and why. Then later that day we got into a group of two and started planning what our ideas are going to be for our advert.

Day 2: On our 2nd day we were talking about swot which is what are our strengths and weaknesses during production and practical. the opportunities that practical activities offer and what the threats are during production. For example the risks that could happen (falling over wires).

Day 3: We were finding research about PEGI and about the gaming industry about all the money they make and talking about which games were banned and why they were banned.

Day 4: We were talking about what attracts people's and companies attention to buy games and talking about how gamers get their game out there to the public. For example posters and TV adverts.

Day 5: We were discussing what our SWOT is in other words our strengths and weaknesses during production. The opportunities that it offers, like what type of job it offers, and the threats that could happen during production.

Day 6: We were planning on where our film is going to take place, we were thinking of filming Ralph's family, if I here feedback from Ralph when we are going to film.

Day 7: We were creating the script and the story board. How the film is going to be set out and how the camera angles are going to be shot in the film.

Day 8: I had to change the idea for the advert and had to work seperatly because time was running out and none of the work was getting done. So now I am working seperatly, also I was ask to do a focus group to give them feedback about their PS4 advert, on what was good, what was bad and what could of been improved. I was doing the focus group with Aimee and Shannon and talking about Lauren and Sam's advert.

Day 9: I have borrowed a black magic camera to film my PS4 advert. The location will take place at my house Eaglescliffe, and the actor who will star in the film will be my cousin Jay Masuda.

Day 10: I have started my editing on PS4 advert. For the audio I am going to use is the soundtrack of Fleetwood mac the chain. The video was a little bit over one minute but by only 10 seconds. I had to use the curves of the colouring to brighten up the video clips to make them stand out and to see what is happening in the video clips. I would admit my camera skills weren't the best as my hand was shaking a lot.

Day 10: I managed to finish the film and I have uploaded the film onto youtube. I have also used the audio of the PS4. to make it look like an PS4 advert.

Day 11: I have filmed my focus group. the people that were in my focus group are Lauren, Aimee, Sam and Ryan. They said they liked the film, but the only thing that I needed to improve on was to stop shaking the camera and keep the camera still.

Evaluation: Through out this assignment I have found this hard and stressful. The reason for this is because I started to work with Ralph at first and things were going well. Until Ralph and I weren't working as a team and wasn't getting the work done, and time was running out as Ralph was leaving everything to the last minute. He wanted to film his family do the film, but I didn't hear anything from him from weeks about whats happening with the filming. So I chose to work by myself and do my own film. I thought working by myself was easy as i got everything done on time and didn't need to argue with people with getting the project done and disagreeing with them about the film. I had filming and editing film by myself as I wanted to do stuff my way and without people changing my idea and without people saying why they don't want to show my project because it wasn't good enough.
